Previously I worked as a legal and regulatory project manager in the financial services industry. The role enabled me to live in Switzerland, travel to New York, the Bahamas and the Channel Islands.
After my first child I made a decision to return to work. Tinies was recommended to me as a childcare agency and so I approached them to help me with my nanny search. I received some great CV's and found a really wonderful nanny.
I thoroughly enjoy my role with Tinies Maternity. Being a parent myself I understand the anxiety and stresses that a new parent goes through and so endeavour to alleviate these stresses by providing the best maternity care I can for new parents.
The maternity nurses we have on our books generally have a minimum of 5 years newborn experience but some of our maternity nurses have as much as 20 years or more. With this wealth of experience we pride ourselves in the fact that we can cater for most issues that arise with newborn babies.
Our vision at Tinies Maternity is to deliver a professional, personal and proactive service to find the right child care solution for you.
Melani, Maternity Consultant
After completing her degree in Stage Management, Melani immigrated to the UK in 2006 from South Africa. It wasn't long before she found herself working for a childcare agency in the West End. In 2008, she had her first child and decided to take some time off with him.
In June 2009 Melani joined Tinies Maternity as the sole consultant for the UK, bringing recruitment experience as well as a good knowledge and understanding of childcare.
Being a mother herself has enabled her to advise other mums and mums-to-be about various childcare aspects and the best services suited to their individual needs.
Her empathy is a good common ground to build good and lasting relationships with Clients and Maternity Nurses. She understands the importance of the right childcare and always ensures that parents receive the highest standard of service.
