Sally obtained her BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and has spent her career predominantly working in schools. Her first post was as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school in a deprived area of Worcester where she was quickly nominated to be responsible for children with behavioural difficulties. Having thrived on the challenge of dealing with these children she was successful in obtaining a post at the Vale of Evesham School as a Teaching Assistant dealing with teenagers with severe learning difficulties. During this time she successfully completed two years studying with the Open University and achieved Diplomas in Early Years and Health and Social Care.
She decided to take a year out and went travelling in Australia where she was able to travel from Melbourne around the East Coast up to Darwin working in sales and marketing. On her return to the UK she worked as a Senior Nursery Assistant in the Toddlers' room at a nursery in Evesham.
Sally uses her own experience of working closely with children of different ages to understand the needs for childcare within the family and the nursery environment.
