Previously I worked as a legal and regulatory project manager in the financial services industry, which involved travelling the world.

After my first child I made the hard decision to return to work. Tinies was recommended to me as a childcare agency and so I approached them to help me with my nanny search. I received some great CVs and found a really wonderful nanny.

I then decided to opt for a total career change, and in March 2008 I bought Tinies Maternity, then in 2009 I bought Tinies South East London and have now added Tinies Kent to my expanding business.

My motive for buying into Tinies was to use my own personal knowledge of juggling a career and a family to help other parents find the right nanny for them. My overriding aim is to ensure that parents are given realistic and honest advice on childcare. I know how daunting it is initially to hand over your child to a complete stranger but I also know that when you find your perfect nanny it's not as stressful as you may first think. I personally understand the importance of finding trustworthy and reliable childcare.

I am also keen to expand more on the supply of nursery staff and mobile creches into the Kent area.
