After 7 successful years experience working within the recruitment industry, I joined Tinies Childcare in May 2009 as a Consultant to run the Hampshire & West Surrey branch which has grown from strength to strength in just over 1 year.

In August 2010, under the new ownership of Claire Adams, I will also be Managing the Dorset branch of Tinies. As a company we are committed to being the preferred supplier for all of our childcare clients, and I will continue to provide a professional and personal service for this new expansion covering the South of England. In addition to my industry experience, I am also a Mum to my 2year old Son, Dan.

As a working mum I know how important professional childcare is and from listening to your requirements at registration, I will strive to provide an excellent service and to assist all clients every step of the way during your search for quality childcare.

I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2009 and straight away joined Tinies as a temporary nursery assistant where I began working as a member of the supply team as relief for local nurseries. Making myself available for every shift under the sun I soon became an ongoing temp at a nursery in Basingstoke where I took the opportunity to become a sponge to the EYFS and in turn learnt a great deal about nursery staff to baby/child ratios and staffing requirements within a busy nursery setting.

In late 2010 I was invited to interview for a temporary admin position in the Tinies offices, and it wasn't long before temp administrator became, junior consultant and junior consultant became consultant.

It is now my responsibility to manage the temp nursery supply desk as well as recruit suitable candidates for permanent nursery positions and support my colleague running the nanny desk whilst we work together to keep our branch thriving and full of exciting new opportunities for candidates and fantastic high calibre candidates for nurseries and parents.

I have a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies and started my career within  Nursery Settings.

I spent 2 years working within a Nursery, building up my experience and knowledge and then changed direction slightly and accepted a position working within a Holiday Company managing and running the on-site hotel Creches at resorts in Greece, Egypt & Portugal. I completed four seasons with this company which was a fantastic learning experience.

On returning to the UK I found another position working within Nurseries and worked my way up to Deputy Manager within a large chain for where I stayed for 3years.

I have an in depth knowledge of the childcare industry and of parent?s requirements, and their need for quality childcare.
