Sole charge, full time nanny in a village South East Newmarket, Suffolk required to care for 6 year old and 4 year old twins.
This Newmarket based nanny job could be live in or live out. A live out Candidate would need to live very locally!
The position is to be 7:30am - 7pm Monday - Thursday, and then Friday would be a half day! The Children will be in school during the day so the position will consist of Cooking and nursery duties plus some dog walking as well as childcare!
The successful nanny should have the following qualities, skills and experience:
- Flexible with hours
- Adaptable with duties
- Energetic, driven, fun and active!
- Should have previous nanny experience
- Should be able to set consistent boundaries
- A confident swimmer
- Holds a Paediatric first aid certificate
- A driver essential due to rural location
The nanny will also be required to fulfill the following duties:
- Should be able to plan, organise and cook healthy nutritious meals
- Should be able to organise age appropriate activities for school holidays
- Confident in getting stuck in and helping the children with homework, reading and spelling. To be fun and imaginative with it!
- Should involve themselves in the children's imaginative play
- Nursery duties including washing, ironing and tidying the children's bedrooms and playrooms.
- Some dog walking, the family have a Labrador so the nanny would need to be comfortable around dogs!
The start date for this nanny job is ASAP - February 2012 and the salary is £350 - £380 NET per week pending experience and whether the nanny is live in or live out.
Accommodation is a large single bedroom with own bathroom.
