Nursery Deputy Managers job for lovely nursery near Manchester Airport

Deputy Manager required for a fabulous nursery near Manchester airport. Main duties to provide and maintain a high standard of quality care. Assist the nursery manager to ensure the full compliance of all nursery policies and procedures. To assist in the recruitment induction, training, personal and professional development for the nursery. Work with the manager in providing a positive relationships with parents. Liaising with external agencies and other childcare professionals. Supporting the room leaders in ensuring children's portfolios are kept up to date and of high quality.
Support room leaders in identifying room and staff development / training.
Help maintain staff files, monitoring staff absence and sickness. Support effective working relationships with Ofsted and Early Years Partnerships. In the absence of the nursery manager, carry out all administrative duties associated with the managing the nursery, the maintenance of records and compliance with statutory documentation. Support the nursery manager with staff and team meetings. To undertake any duties and responsibilities as may be required by the nursery manager. To provide room cover when required. Complete audits and be responsible and accountable for room based audits. Oversee the implementation and on-going practice of policies and procedures.
