Tinies statement on COVID-19

Navigating through COVID-19

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We have faced quite some challenges in our 45-year history here at Tinies, but what we are now experiencing is an unprecedented situation for which nobody was remotely prepared. We wanted you to know that we're doing everything that we possibly can to make a difference in these unique circumstances.

As you all know, safety has always been our top priority here at Tinies, so we made sure we had robust COVID-19 procedures in place since the very beginning to support our childcarers, families and nurseries.

As per the current Government guidelines, in-home childcare professionals can still provide childcare support at private homes.

IN-HOME CHILDCARE

For your peace of mind and our own, we request Coronavirus declarations forms from both. We have complemented our Tinies risk assessment with an exhaustive COVID-19 section, and our team of consultants share COVID-19 safety guidelines with all our teams and parents before placement takes place.

The Tinies team is here to help you navigate the temporary conditions while working from home. Our childcare professionals can also support your family's needs if you cannot work from home, and help ease some of the struggles we all experience as working parents.

NURSERY

We are also doing everything we can to help nurseries remain operational while keeping everyone safe. As part of our joint legal obligation, we are gathering information from our nursery clients about their COVID-19 policies in place and provide our carers with an induction checklist to complete on their first day at the nursery setting along with some additional COVID-19 guidance information.

For everyones peace of mind including the families that a nursery setting supports, we request COVID-19 declarations from our candidates before we place them at a nursery.

You are all part of our big family, and we will always be here to offer our childcarers, parents and nurseries as much information and support as we possibly can.

Let's keep building stronger families together. Stay healthy and stay strong. We'll come through this.
