Full Time Nanny Job in Aberdeen
Job description
Start Date: 3rd August 2023
Hours: 07:30 - 19:30 Monday to Friday with roughly 24 x 24 hour on-calls in a 12 month period (roughly 2 a month to cover days when both mum and dad are at work at night - not necessarily all of them are going to happen but built in to allow for flexibility) also may be occasional planned weekends.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the safety, welfare plus social, emotional and physical development of 2 x girls (3 years and 10 months)
- Responsibility for their day to day basic care ( bathing, dressing etc.)
- Engaging in lots of outdoor and indoor play activities as well as facilitating independent play both in and outside including cooking, basic children's gardening etc.
- Facilitate and arrange playdates and other social activities
- Nursary pick up and drop off for older child
- Children's laundry and bedding
- Keeping children's toy spaces and rooms clean and tidy
- Cooking vegetarian breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner (with attendant tidying up)
- Maintaining family diary ie coordinating children's schedual, appointments and working with parents re shifts
- May have occasional morning and mid day 20 min dog walk
- Traveling with family if required (not a regular thing )
- Occasional errands (not at expense of core role!)
Accommodation: Own room with bathroom on own floor of house
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Requirements:
Practical:
- Up to-date paediatric first aid / commitment to maintain it on an ongoing basis
- Knowledge of vegetarian cooking/ willingness to learn
- Up to date food safety and awareness of child relate food safety
- Ability to cycle and swim confidently
- Relevant childcare qualification
- English speaking (but another language is a bonus)
