Job description
A family based near Henley on Thames is looking for a Part-time nanny/housekeeper.
3 days a week - Must include a Monday
7am-7pm (can be flexible)
£15-£20/hr dependent on experience.
1 child: 2 years old
Full time support through school holidays. Some adhoc overnight and weekend work required as well as event attendance.
The family are looking for a nanny/housekeeper who has a minimum of 10 years' experience within a similar role, you must be flexible and adaptable in your role. The ability to multi task is essential for this position.
Nanny duties required:
Ensuring the child is ready for pre-school, making breakfast and driving her to school locally.
Collecting child from school - currently attending full days Monday to Friday
Full wardrobe responsibility and maintenance, ensuring clothes are clean and new sized clothes are bought as relevant
Full responsibility for ensuring child's food, toiletry cupboards are fully stocked at all times
All child associated tasks - maintaining play area, cleaning toys, maintain and cleaning clothes
Taking the child to local activities and events (holiday time)
Learning and teaching activities in the home environment (holiday time)
House-keeping duties required:
Tidying, Cleaning and maintaining the general living space and play area as well as the child's bedroom space
Cooking for the family on some evenings
Batch cooking for the family
The family will be moving into a larger house towards the end of the year and there will be an expectation for this role to help with that transition with a focus on the child's bedroom, playroom and all associated areas and elements off the move.
General household cleaning when cleaners are off, including laundry processing and putting away.
Must be a driver with own car - clean license, fully insured and MOT
4 weeks holiday (pro-rated to part time hours) and bank holidays off
Salary is negotiable and will be dependent on experience.
