Live In Full Time Nanny

A family in Huntingdon (PE28) require a kind, caring and experienced full - time live in nanny to care for an 7 year old boy. The nanny must be energetic, good fun with a firm but fair approach and able to encourage good manners. Being a great role model is important as well as having a good knowledge of children's computer games and local parks!

This role is a mixture of shared care and sole charge. The hours for this live in nanny job are Monday to Friday from 7am until the child is settled in bed. There will be some free time during the school day in term time.

Duties for this nanny job will include:

• General childcare duties
• Waking the child, assisting him with the morning routine, breakfast and getting ready for school
• Preparing a packed lunch
• Ensuring the child has everything he needs for school each day
• Driving the child to school and collecting him
• Liaising between home and school
• Assisting with homework
• Taking the child to after school activities such as swimming lessons once they re-open
• Working as a team and liaising effectively with the family
• Grocery shopping for the child
• Planning activities in the school holidays
• Preparing and cooking fresh, healthy, home - made meals for the child
• Keeping areas used clean and tidy
• Doing the child's laundry and ironing

To be considered for this nanny job candidates must have:

• The right to work in the UK
• Previous age appropriate, sole charge nanny experience
• A childcare qualification is desirable but not essential for this role if experienced
• A valid 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate (Tinies can assist)
• Nanny insurance (Tinies can advise)
• A clean, enhanced DBS disclosure (Tinies can assist)
• A clean driving licence - a duty car will be available
• Flexibility

Candidates must be able to supply referees covering the last 5 years of employment.

Candidates must be non-smokers and non - vapers.

Accommodation is an en-suite bedroom within the family home, there is also a lounge area the nanny can share with the child and also use in the evenings.

The start date for this role is 1st March 2021.

The hourly rate being offered is negotiable depending on experience.
