Full Time Deputy Manager Job in Hertfordshire
Job description

Hours: 40 hours a week
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 gross per year depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Assist the Nursery Manager in daily operations and assume responsibility in their absence.
Oversee the planning and implementation of a high-quality Montessori and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Support and guide the teaching team in creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
Collaborate with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to the development and execution of policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices.
Qualifications:
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to children and their families.
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
A Montessori qualification preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application in a nursery setting.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and lead a team of educators and support staff.
Should have a valid First Aid and DBS certificate
Up-to-date safeguarding training.
Any additional relevant qualifications or certifications will be considered an asset.
Knowledge of educational journals online
