Room Lead

Lovely Montessori Nursery in Brentford, looking for a qualified Level 3, to work as a Room Leader with 0-2 year olds

Full time, 40hours per week.

Essential Requirements:
Clean DBS Certificate
Level 3 or above in early years education/childcare qualification
Previous experience of working with young children in a day nursery environment
Sound knowledge of child development from birth to five years
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori philosophy
Knowledge of Safeguarding and child protection
An understanding of play-based approaches to children's learning and development
Motivation and aspiration to grow further in early years and take on a more senior role
Willingness to learn and undertake further training
Good listening and communication skills
A commitment to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding
A commitment to equal opportunities
A commitment to working well with young children and their families
A friendly and flexible approach at work which facilitates the development of effective relationships

Desirable attributes:
Basic Food hygiene certificate (this can be obtained through the nursery if needed)
Paediatric First Aid certificate (this can be obtained through the nursery if needed)
Safeguarding children certificate (this can be obtained through the nursery if needed)

What you can expect:
£22,000 - £26,000
