Full Time Nursery Nurse Job in Cheshire
Job description
Tinies are recruiting 2 enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join a growing EYFS team, in a full time role, all year round, specifically in a brand new baby room for children age 6 months to 2 years. This new team and room have the luxury of brand new, highest spec equipment and toys, including a separate beautifully bespoke made relaxation & sleep room. You'll be joining this exceptional setting and the new baby room at the beginning of a new and exciting chapter and will enjoy along with the other new staff members seeing it grow and being part of that as well.
The Early Years provision is part of a renowned Prep School, and is set within beautiful green space. Are you keen to make a difference and to go 'the extra mile' for the school and its pupils? The ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 or above in Early Years and have a strong Early Years background (if you have a wealth of experience but don't hold qualifications we would still like to hear from you)!

In your role you will:
Effectively deliver the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children and families in our setting are met
Keep records of key children's development and learning
Support other staff members and engage positively in the staff team
Develop and maintain a strong partnership with Parents
Ensure the provision of a high quality environment that meets the needs of each individual child, while having an awareness of any individual circumstances for example family cultures, medical histories and learning needs.
Be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other duties where required.
Essential for all applicants:
Experience working with babies and children between 0-4 years
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures in line with school procedures, and KCSiE
Good knowledge and experience of providing excellent quality provision for babies and young children essential
Experience with Learning Journeys, Key Groups and working as part of a team.
Ability to write quality observations and reports using appropriate ICT skills
Desirable for all applicants:
Level 3 Childcare Qualification
Have experience in a preparatory school setting
The best approaches to creating the right environment, settling in and attachment
Have the knowledge to implement mindfulness strategies and the Hygge approach
