Nursery Practitioner  

Our Brilliant nursery in South Woodford is looking for a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner to join our fantastic team!


Purpose of the role: 

To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and to maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment.  To ensure the Nursery strives to become an example of excellence and innovative practice.



Monday-Friday

40 hours a week

Paying up to 20K

Must be Level 3 qualified in childcare

 

Duties:

To ensure the Nursery strives to become an example of excellence and innovative practice.
To care for ALL children's needs.
To work as part of a team.
To be responsible for your key children's development.
To maintain positive relationships with all parents/carers.
To maintain professionalism and respect towards parents and colleagues at all times.


NURSERY PRACTICE:



To supervise all children.
To be responsible for your key children's development.
To complete all paper work required about children's progress (profiles).
To complete observations on all children.
To work with children on focus activities.
Ensure that your key children develop and progress in all the Early Years Foundation stage to their own ability.
To ensure that Nursery activities comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
To plan and organise weekly activities.
To support other staff and be flexible.
To keep the Nursery clean and orderly.
To respect the role of the Deputy/ Third in change in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
Complete appropriate records i.e. Accident book, Medicine book etc.


You will be given continued support and training to assist you within your role and be offered a competitive salary.
