Nursery Manager In Hove

• Strong leadership and management skills to ensure the setting can provide first-class
childcare to our children and families and that it is an enjoyable place to work for staff
• Deliver first-class customer service to all children and their families and to always go
the extra mile;
• Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and
to always be working towards Outstanding levels of childcare provision at all times;
• Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities for the nursery to promote the health,
safety and welfare of children and employees and families
• Responsibility to make referrals to external agencies and regulatory bodies,
• Understands and implements ethos and values
• Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
• Implement in-house and external training where needed
• Responsibility for full compliance of the nursery setting in all areas - i.e. staffing ratios, health and safety, food safety and allergy management;
• Always ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and statutory requirements as set out by relevant bodies;
• To always be working towards 100% occupancy at the nursery
• Identify commercial opportunities to facilitate nursery visits and bookings


Holiday: 33 days per annum including statutory holidays
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Requirements
• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
