Maternity Position

Maternity Cover needed to cover the Setting Leader Starting Early March - Mid March untill May In the Location of Welling Kent DA16

As the manager of Setting is going on Maternity leave, we are looking for someone who can start work from early or mid-March till May (potentially even further depending on how things go).


We are a small Nursery and would prefer to stay small to ensure we can deliver the 1-2-1 attention kids require with a home from home environment.

We are an Ofsted registered childminding service situated within Welling Kent

Level 3 Qualified Candidate needed To hold this position

Nursery is open 07:00-18:00 (Mon to Fri), 18:00 to 18:30 is mainly tidy up and leave the premises.


 • Having childcare experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Well spoken and written knowledge of the English language is essential
• Holding a driving license is preferred
• Working knowledge of the EYFS is preferred
• Level 3 in childcare is a minimum but Level 5 is preferred
• Paediatric first aid qualification is a requirement

We are looking for someone who is reliable, fun, creative, calm and well-presented but most importantly has a passion for childcare.

We spend a lot of time outside and caring for children can be quite physically demanding so good health is essential. Punctuality, trustworthy and being reliable.


Role involves:
• Feeding and preparing children's food
• Changing nappies
• Playing and interacting with children
• Setting up activities
• Following the EYFS curriculum and writing up observations
• Filling out daily dairies
• Cleaning after meal time
