We have a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our friendly and fun team as a Room Leader in a beautiful spacious setting in Hornsey on a full time basis.

We will consider Room Leaders with previous experience in this position and also strong Practitioners wanting to progress to this position.

We are looking for a Room Leader who is able to guide and lead a team to provide outstanding childcare.

The Room Leader needs to have excellent knowledge of the EYFS, planning and completing observations and will be able to support others with this.

This setting is very busy but highly rewarding and needs a strong Level 3 Room Leader to complete their team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicating well with parents to discuss children's development, abilities and any other queries they may have
• Putting children's safety first, following safeguarding procedures and ensuring all practitioners are doing so too
• Creating fun and educational play areas and activities for children to explore and learn and inspiring your team to do the same
• Supporting staff team when completing learning journeys, planning, observations in order to track each key child's development
• Communicating and delegating tasks to the team noticing their strengths and development areas where they may need support
• Promoting structure and routine to ensure each individual child's needs are met.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Level 3 or above Qualification in Childcare
• 2 years previous experience in a childcare setting
• Outstanding knowledge of the EYFS, planning and observations
• Fantastic communication skills
• Be able to work Monday- Friday shifts between 8am-6pm

Salary offered £21,000 depending on Qualifications and experience
