Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

A very friendly, small nursery in Bugbrooke (NN7) is seeking a Full - Time Nursery Practitioner with a minimum full and relevant level 3 qualification to join their expanding team. Candidates must also have English and Maths GCSE level 4 or functional skills level 2 to be considered.


Duties for this Full - Time Nursery Practitioner role will include:

• Working with children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years
• Meeting the personal/emotional needs of individual children
• Providing all aspects of care/support to children, ensuring they take part with day- to- day learning and play activities
• Ensuring that the setting is safe, clean and well presented
• Collaborating with colleagues ensuring the highest standards of work are carried out throughout your role in a positive manner
• To plan a high-quality caring and enabling environment for children to support their cultural capital. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities
• Have a sound understanding of the EYFS
• To be able to observe and in the moment plan for children's development
• Attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas
• Be able to understand and implement the setting's confidentiality policy
• Contribute towards an effective and supportive team environment

• A full and relevant early years and childcare qualification
• Flexible and creative attitude and have the commitment to provide first class childcare
• The ability to promote good practice in a professional manner
• Previous experience within a nursery setting
• A clean, enhanced DBS (Tinies can assist)
• A Valid Paediatric 12 Hour First Aid certificate / willingness to undertake the training
• Reference checks will be undertaken

The hourly rate is between £10.00 - £10.50 gross per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
