Nursery Practitioner

This Lovely nursery in Peckham is looking for a level 3 nursery practitioner to join their team. The nursery provides individual play areas for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, all equipped with fantastic facilities and equipment. The nursery encourages and support staff to continue training and developing their childcare skills to Bachelors Degree level (and beyond) to maintain the highest possible standards of care and education within our nurseries.

Duties Include but are not exclusive to:
• To be a key person to a group of children.
• To interact and engage in play opportunities with children
• To carry out planning for all key children on an individual basis in accordance with the EYFS
• To make observations and keep developmental records updated so that children's progress is monitored and assessed.
• Liaise with parents and carers both verbally and written.
• To ensure that the nursery environment is safe and that standards of hygiene are high.
• To complete accident and incident records.
• To ensure that all safeguarding procedures are implemented at all times and carried out effectively.
• To attend internal and external training as requested.
• To liaise with external professionals where necessary.

Requirements:
Level 3 in childcare
Experience within a nursery practitioner role.

Salary: £17-£20Kpa
