GET YOUR PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID

First aid training is a valuable qualification and life skill held by the majority of professional childcarers, that can save lives in critical situations.

Basic first aid training can teach you how to handle some basic situations. However, a paediatric first aid course will help you deal effectively with emergencies such as an infant choking or other infant-related trauma.

Professional accredited trainers deliver emergency PFA courses covering 6 hours and provide full Paediatric First Aid training courses covering 12 hours. The emergency first aid course should always be delivered face to face to ensure appropriate techniques are adopted which will save lives. Refresher courses are encouraged and certification should be renewed every three years.

If you are not aware who in your local area could provide you with an accredited PFA course, please speak to your local Tinies branch for guidance.
