Job Description

A fun and friendly family run nursery in Corby (NN17) is seeking a Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner to join their expanding team.

To apply for this Early Years Practitioner role candidates must have:

• A Full and relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification (minimum level 3)

• A clean, enhanced DBS (Tinies can assist)

• Previous nursery experience

• Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework

• A valid 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate (Tinies can assist)

• The ability to work in a team and also under your own initiative

• A love of working with children and being part of their learning and development journey

Duties for this Early Years Practitioner role include:

• Planning and carrying out fun and educational activities

• All general childcare duties

• Implementing the EYFS framework and carrying out observations

• Key worker responsibilities for a designated group of children

• Liaising effectively with parents, carers and colleagues

• Attending staff meetings and training courses

• Supporting and encouraging the learning and development of all children

• Monitoring and recording the children's developmental progress

The hours are 42.5 hours per week, worked over 4.5 days on a shift basis to cover the opening times of the nursery.

The hourly rate being offered is £12.21 - £13.00 gross.
