The family are looking for someone who is organised and can help to keep their household working well, as well as someone who cares about children. They are seeking someone with integrity who we can trust to be part of their parenting team, someone with a strong sense of responsibility who will put the wellbeing and happiness of the children first.
The Nanny needs to have previous nannying experience and will need to be a driver (a car can be provided if needed)
Parents work in central London, with some travel. Husband works from home most of the week, in a home office out of the way of the main living areas of the house.
Duties:
-Take the youngest child to and from school, support the children with their homework requirements and music practice, as well as taking time out to play games in the evenings, and to cover most half-terms and holidays.
-During half-terms and holidays, organising trips out, craft activities and outdoor play.
-Housekeeping duties are expected to be completed during the day, including:
- family laundry and bed linen
- Small amount of ironing (mainly school shirts)
- Planning menus and preparing kids’ dinners
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and putting dishwasher on
- Keeping playroom tidy
- Grocery shopping
Salary: £16-£18 per hour, depending on experience
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays, with half at nanny’s discretion, and half on dates booked by the family for their holidays.
