Our Scottish agencies are SQA-approved providers. We offer Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Levels 5, 7, and 9. Our work-based qualifications combine on-the-job assessments with written work, preparing you to meet industry standards and qualify as a childcare practitioner at SCQF Level 7. Funding may be available through Skills Development Scotland (SDS) or the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS), with an interest-free payment plan also an option. Unique to Tinies, our role as a recruitment agency provides us with daily insights into the job market, enabling us to support you in finding employment during and after your training.
This service allows Scottish families to register their nannies in order to claim from a Childcare Voucher Scheme, Universal Credit or Tax Free Childcare. Once we have registered the nanny, our team will provide with a letter that confirms that the nanny is a "registered nanny" and a registration number that you will have the use for the duration of the employment of the named nanny. In the case of Tax Free Childcare, we will also upload the nanny's contact details on the Tax Free Childcare portal so that HMRC can create an account for them.
Louise was absolutely amazing with my daughter. My daughter adored her and had so much fun with her. She was exhausted by the time Louise left!
Our needs were fully understood with an advert created within 24 hours. Professional positive service with excellent communication. Jacques was so helpful and supportive. Highly recommend Tinies.
I would recommend Tinies as both a recruitment and training service. Martine and Jacques are approachable, friendly, and professional. This also extends to the assessor. Thank you!
So impressed by the competence and friendliness of the staff. I was nervous to leave my baby, but the staff were so reassuring. I would not have been able to attend the conference without you. Thanks.
I couldn’t recommend Tinies enough. Professional and trustworthy, caring, and responsible. Everything I was looking for and more in agency support.
An overall great experience provided by a top team who are friendly, helpful and very supportive. Highly recommend!
My Tinies journey began in 2011 with my husband Jacques when our own children were young. As a parent who also has a background in childcare and education, high quality provision is my top priority. Involvement in the industry is key and that is why I continue to supervise our mobile creches and maintain my CPD in line with SSSC registration requirements.
As Head of Centre at our SQA approved training centre I work with my assessment team and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards are met when delivering our childcare training and Modern Apprenticeships.
I am involved in our local community and have taken on voluntary roles and fundraising for local charities. I currently mentor a young person with MCR Pathways, and I am a panel member for Children’s Hearings Scotland.
I am originally from Paris, France but moved to the United Kingdom in the summer of 2000 to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I taught languages in England and Scotland for fifteen years.
I absolutely loved being a teacher, and not just because of the summers off! It was greatly rewarding to work with youngsters, help them improve themselves and make a difference in their lives.
In my role as Head of Languages I was involved in the recruiting and training of new staff. Joining Tinies allowed me to satisfy my entrepreneurial personality within a childcare context that is dear to my heart.
In my work for Tinies, I have and will always look to serve the best interest of the children by providing their parents or nurseries with the highest calibre of childcarers.
With a degree in Business Information Management, I worked in the business, computing, and administration sector before joining Tinies in 2022.
As a parent, I know the importance of recruiting appropriately qualified and experienced childcarers who are passionate about nurturing young minds. An eye for detail and my dedication and enthusiasm ensures that only the best carers join the Tinies team.
