Our Favourite Jokes for International Joke Day

In honour of International Joke Day on July 1st, we asked a budding comedian to share with us her favourite jokes

In honour of International Joke Day on July 1st, we asked a budding comedian to share with us her favourite jokes.

Megan wants to be a comedian when she grows up as she thinks jokes are important because if they are good ones (or even sometimes if they are bad ones!) they make people laugh and smile together, which makes the world a better place. Without good jokes the world would be a very boring place indeed.

Here they are:

  1. I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me!
  2. A fish swam into a wall: "Damn!"
  3. Two fish in a tank. One says to the other: "Do you know how to drive this thing?"
  4. What's brown and sticky? - A stick!
  5. What's red and hurts your teeth? - A brick!
  6. Why is the Mississippi such an unusual river? - It has 4 eyes and still can't see!
  7. Why did the mushroom go to the party? - Because he was a fungi!
  8. Why did the sultana go out with the prune? - Because he couldn't find a date!
  9. A recent scientific study showed that out of 2,293,618,367 people, 94% are too lazy to actually read that number.
  10. Why did the physics teacher break up with the biology teacher? - There was no chemistry.

We're looking forward to seeing Megan's name in lights in the future!

Using Tinies gave me peace of mind and also removed a lot of the stress and administrative side of the process. I could be sure that any CVs sent to me had already been screened for suitability, and that the consultant had already ensured that both I and the potential candidates would be a good fit. I felt that they were really committed to ensuring that I got the best person to help care for my daughter, and that they also understood how nerve wracking an experience it can be for a parent to leave their child with someone.
