Nanny - Newcastle

A professional family in the Longbenton area of Newcastle are seeking a Nanny for their son, who will be 1 when the role commences.

The family are looking for a warm and loving Nanny to join their family; someone who is patient and creative, loves working with children, and has experience working with similar ages. The family would like a nanny who can continue their routine and add to this with their excellent knowledge of child development. The parents are looking for a Nanny who is experienced and can come in and take on all daily duties as they are both working. Dad will be working from home with occasional work in other cities, but this will be a sole charge role. There will be occasional later finishes which will be notified in advance, and additional babysitting hours should the suitable candidate be interested in more hours. A driver is preferred but not essential, the family are looking for the right fit and someone who will be able to commit to the family for at least the year until January 2025. A Greek Nanny would be an asset to this family, but they are keen to hear from Nannies from all nationalities who are a suitable match to the role.

General duties:

All daily sole charge duties
Following the child's daily routine/nap schedule
Attending different groups, activities and playdates including swimming and sensory classes
Being in tune with the child's needs and development
Playing at home and planning developmentally appropriate activities
Going for walks and also playing in the garden
All nursery duties - laundry, keeping bedrooms/play areas tidy
Preparing healthy snacks and meals

Enhanced Childcare DBS & Paediatric First Aid will be required at offer stage. Please speak to us if you require an updated DBS or to find out our next Paediatric First Aid course dates.

Hours: 8.00am - 6pm (with occasional later finish due to travel or babysitting as agreed)
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours 30 (+ flexible additional hours)
Start date: March 2024
Salary: Dependant on experience
