Baby Room Leader

We are currently recruiting for a passionate experienced room leader to join our wonderful nursery. Our nursery is situated in Ash, Sevenoaks. This nursery offers childcare for children aged up to five years old. The nursery is open from 7:30am to 7pm and located on Ash, Sevenoaks. The rural location offers an idyllic surrounding for children to explore nature while building their imaginations and understanding of the world around them. The nursery follows the EYFS framework to build each child's skills and independence. Multi-sensory play areas, both indoors and outdoors, enable plenty of activities, from messy play to stories and singing. Children are given healthy, homemade meals, with learning about a healthy and active lifestyle being part of their EYFS curriculum. You main duties would include to be responsible for the supervision and the care of the children, to plan and operate a programme of activities suitable for the age range and development of the children in the room (this will be done in conjunction with the manager), to implement the nursery completition of the Quality assurance scheme, to ensure child is collected by someone known to the nursery, to assist with first aid when and if required and also to ensure that all children you are a key person for have their development records up to date always. Our perfect candidate for the room leader position would hold a Level 3 in childcare, have 2 years experience as a strong practitioner or room leader and have great knowledge and experience working with babies.
