Job description
Do you have previous experience as a Room Leader?
Are you creative, enthusiastic and have a great passion for working with children aged 3 months-5 years?
Are you looking to work at a welcoming and fun setting?
A fantastic Nursery in Pinner is looking to fill a Room Leader position at their nursery.
The nursery is run by a fantastic management team who are looking for the right applicant to fit right in and prides itself on being more like an extension of a family home, where children are meant to feel settled, loved, nurtured and inspired.
A nursery in the Pinner area, are looking for a level 3 Childcare Qualified Nursery Nurse, who has good knowledge of the EYFS.
The nursery has great transport links with a car park with several spaces on the premises for ease of drop off and collection.
They are looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (shift pattern basis)
The suitable candidate will earn between £20,000 to £27,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting in the general daily running in the room you are allocated to
• Managing the staff within the room and caring for the needs and development of the children
• Maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment
• Supervising staff and utilising their knowledge and skills to creatively support others.
• Developing, motivating, and supervising staff, ensuring a high standard of childcare practice throughout the nursery and excellent customer service to parents
• Ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Caring for and supervising children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
• Supervising the planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child's individual development within a stimulating atmosphere.
• Developing an open and positive working relationship with staff
• Maintaining staff-children ratios, conducting regular staff assessments during the day, and ensuring efficient development to staff to enable them to effectively carry out their duties.

• Be able to create an environment for children to feel safe, loved and nurtured.
• Have a can-do attitude
• Good communication skills with children, parents and staff
• Experience in a day care setting
• An experienced practitioner with experience managing & developing a team
• A Level 3 or above early years qualification
• knowledge & experience of Early Years Framework & Foundation stage
• An organised and supportive personality
• Strong attention to detail
• To be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
• Have good Health & Safety awareness
• Have Child Protection/Safeguarding knowledge
