Nursery Room Leader

A well established and fun nursery in Northampton (NN2) requires a Full - Time, Level 3 Nursery Room Leader to join their busy team in providing a high standard of education and care for children aged 0 to 5 years.

The main duties and responsibilities for this Nursery Room Leader role are:

• Managing a nursery room and overseeing a small team
• Adhering to the policies and procedures of the nursery
• Working as part of a team
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of the EYFS and work within its frame work
• To establish good relationships with key children and their parents
• To ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• Maintaining and keeping up to date key children's folders
• Making good level of observational notes and reports as required
• Planning and preparing of activities

Candidates must hold a level 3 qualification to be considered for this role. Good communication skills are also a must. This position is subject to a clean, enhanced DBS check.

The hours for this Nursery Room Leader role are Monday - Friday, 35 - 40 hours a week worked on a shift basis between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

The age group the Room Leader is required for is the baby room / under three year olds.

The salary is between £18,500 and £22,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
