Early Years Room Manager

Full Time permanent 40 hours per week


£22,000 - £24,000 p/a + Excellent career and Benefits

We are recruiting for a wonderful early years day nursery that occupies a traditional detached property which has been specifically adapted to nursery care. The rooms are of a good size but retain their homely feel which the children really love. Babies and toddlers use rooms on the ground floor with a large conservatory. The older children have a variety of rooms on the first floor, all the rooms in the nursery are light and airy and provide a wide range of high-quality resources for the children's learning and play. The garden has a variety of areas including climbing frames, digging areas, playhouses, vegetable garden, sandbox and bicycle paths. The garden is also used for creative painting, story time and picnics in the summer.

We are looking for an Early Years Room Manager who is committed to ensuring that all children receive exceptional care, we are looking for an inspirational practitioner who can motivate a team to deliver rich learning opportunities through unique and exciting environments.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the practitioners and quality of childcare within a room

Ensuring stimulating and inspiring activities are provided for the children in the room.

Assisting with the monitoring of staff performance within the room

Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

Coach and mentor practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare

The skills set & experience:

• A commitment and dedication to deliver exceptional childcare

• Minimum 2 years of Childcare experience

• Qualification - NNEB, BTEC, NVQ 3, or equivalent childcare qualification

• Committed to your own career development.
