If so, then we're looking for YOU!

The Role

As Manager you'll be tasked with providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children aged 0-5 years,in our beautiful outdoor setting. You'll work with your team to createan enabling environment where children can develop and learn through play. You'll use your existing skills, experience and passion for outdoor
education to deliver a fantastic experience for our children, promote our ethos and help to make the nursery the best it can be.

We are an exciting and forward-thinking organisation offering a new type of childcare for families in Perthshire. We care for and educatechildren aged from 0 to 5, following the Pre-Birth to Three and
Curriculum for Excellence, incorporating learning in an outdoor environment where free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world and physical activity are an integral part of learning.

Our aim is to address the increasing disconnect between children and nature with our outdoor children's nurseries across the capital.

The ideal candidate will have

Experience in managing teams
Experience in forest schools or outdoor education (desirable)

Good knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding children obligations
Someone who is highly organised, reliable and a driven team-player
Strong relationship-building and communication skills to build a rapport with parents and practitioners alike
The ability to adapt quickly to changes, is flexible and uses their initiative daily.

We want managers who love children and want to spend some time in the forest with them. Although our managers need to be supernumerary and highly organised, we believe you can more effectively lead and inspire your team to constantly provide the best experience for our children through spending time together playing with the children. We are looking for motivated and dynamic managers, who can lead a team of practitioners and help them to grow as educators

The Package
Salary depending on experience and skills

I've always found Tinies staff to be very friendly and very helpful in finding me the right kind of work. They clearly understand and consider the needs of both the nurseries/family and the childcarer.
