Full Time Nursery Nurse Job in Cambridgeshire
Job description
A nursery in Cambridge (CB24) require a full time member of staff to join their friendly team working with the 2-3 year olds.
Hours are 40 hours a week worked in shifts across the opening times of between 8am - 6pm, 48 weeks a year.
The salary for this Full Time Early Years Educator role is £20,344 - £22,021 gross per annum depending upon relevant experience.
Duties include:
- All childcare duties
- Implementing the EYFS
- Working as a team and supporting senior colleagues
- Liaising with colleagues, families / carers and outside agencies
- Planning and carrying out both fun and educational activities
To apply candidates must have:
- A minimum full and relevant level 3 qualification in early years / childcare
- Age appropriate previous experience
- Good organisational and time keeping skills
- The ability to promote good practice in a professional manner and understand and adhere to the commitment for confidentiality
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
- A high standard of literacy and numeracy appropriate to the duties required
- A clean, enhanced DBS (Tinies can assist)
- Previous experience working in a setting that delivers the Reggio Emilia approach is desirable but not essential
