Apply today. A nursery in GU32, Petersfield area are looking for an amazing practitioner to join their team and care for the children in their setting to an outstanding level.
You will work as a key person and need to be able to plan fun and stimulating activities for the children that not only engages them and aid there development but inspires them to learn!
Your duties will include:
• To safeguard children through following correct procedures including carrying out risk assessments and making/assisting with referrals to social care where appropriate
• To assist with the planning, preparation and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• To act as key person to a small group of children, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met.
• To listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate and ensure the safe keeping of the children.
• To take part in special events, outings or visits.
• To encourage parental involvement and inform them of their child's progress and how to support their child's learning at home.
• To be a positive role model within the Nursery
• To assist with regular observations of children and activities and maintain personal records (Learning Journey) for each child.
• To attend relevant training as directed by the Nursery Manager or Directors.
This is a full time job working 40 hours a week.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience and is up to £18000 per annum
