This setting based in St Albans are looking to recruit a Qualified Nursery Nurse to join their team.

Role Purpose: To provide care and education which promotes health, growth and development; help children achieve the best possible start in life and support their full potential

Key Tasks:
Care and take responsibility for one age group of children and provide a happy, safe, secure and stimulating environment in which the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development of the children is taken into account

To encourage the children to maintain and develop their own individuality and independence within supportive group care, compensating where necessary for difficulties they might experience within their families

Ensure the appropriate equipment is available for play and education and is linked to the child's area of development

Take a lead in planning and assessment of the children

Hours: 40 hours per week 4 days per week 10 hours shifts with a day off, usually 8am-6pm.

Salary £19,000 to £20,500 gross per annum
