Baby Room Practitioner

We are currently hiring for a Baby Room Practitioner to join our setting in Dartford (DA2)! Our nursery is situated in the Bexley Park Housing Estate, Five minutes from Bexley Village, Crayford, Dartford and Bexleyheath. There is free onsite parking for staff and the site can be accessed via Bexley train station or on the B12 bus route.

We following In the Moment Planning and provide lots of exciting wooden resources and toys to spark curiosity and promote learning in all area of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Each staff member gets set time to carry out their PPA time and monitor their key children's progress. We are very inclusive of children with additional needs, so experience with children with ASD, global delay or other diagnosis desirable. We have many external activities throughout the week including Phonics Stars, Forest School, AW Football Coaching, Multi Sports and Baby Ballet.

Our hours of operation are 8am-6pm, 50 weeks of the year and we are currently looking for a 2-3 day a week person for this position. Staff have 22.4 days annual leave and the nursery is closed over Christmas and New Year and all Bank Holidays.

Our candidate requirements for this position would have a Level 2 or 3 in childcare however will consider an experienced unqualified candidate, 1+ year plus experience within a nursery setting, Great communication skills and the confidence to build rapport and to speak with Parents/carers.

The salary for this position is £14,820.00 - £15,600.00 per annum.
