A well established small Nursery in Twickenham are looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse, who has good knowledge of the EYFS.

Role Purpose and Key Objectives:
  • To work as part of a team in a child centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating way ensuring their individual needs are met within the group setting.
  • To be familiar with and act according to, Safeguarding guidelines as set down by the local safeguarding board or Social Services.
  • Deliver and uphold the Nursery policy and procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide support to their Line Manager on a daily basis.
  • To be aware of Health and Safety issues in the Nursery
  • Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the Nursery

  • Be a reliable member of the team working cooperatively and with flexibility.
  • To ensure regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child's progress.
  • Supervise children at play indoor and outdoor and at meal times to ensure safety.
  • Work with the team to ensure that children?s work is displayed effectively.
  • Ensure that any food served is monitored and we conform to Food Safety regulations.
  • Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework.
  • To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other staff of any other relevant information.
  • Maintain children's records inclusive of observations and their next steps.
  • Responsibility for accuracy of daily registers.
