Level 3 Nursery Nurse

A vacancy for a Nursery Nurse has become available in a busy setting in Long Buckby (NN6). A practitioner with a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification is required to join their friendly team.

To be considered for this Nursery Nurse job candidates must have:

• A level 3 or above qualification in Childcare / Early Years
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards
• Previous nursery experience of at least 1 year
• Excellent communication skills and able to work well in a team
• A sound understanding of children's individual needs and development
• Paediatric first aid is desirable (Tinies can assist)
• A clean enhanced DBS (Tinies can assist)

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and carrying out a wide range of activities indoors and outdoors
• General childcare duties
• Implementing the EYFS framework, carrying out observations and recording development
• Supporting a small key group of children
• Working closely with parents and colleagues
• To attend regular team meetings and training days

Days and hours for this Nursery Nurse job are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. (Hours can be worked over 4 days if preferred)

The salary being offered is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
