The key area of responsibility for a L3 Nursery Nurse includes but is not limited to:
- Provide appropriate care and supervision of the children at all times
- Promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, staff and visitors.
- Be responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met.
- Plan, deliver and monitor activities to meet children's needs in line with the EYFS. Offer all children equal opportunities
- Conduct housekeeping duties to support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children.
- Co-operate fully with other child care practitioners/professionals in relation to the individual child's needs.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with parents and carers
- Adhere to all policies and procedures at all times
- Role model appropriate practice to other team members, leading by example
