Full time Nursery Nurse

Do you enjoy building sandcastles, getting messy, going on bears hunts, looking for bugs and ensuring children get the best start in life?
If so, we have some exciting opportunities for a suitably qualified Nursery Nurse to join our setting in Birmingham!

The main purpose of this rewarding role is to work alongside the nursery team ensuring all children receive the highest standards of care and education and achieve their fullest potential in a purposeful, friendly, caring and relaxing environment in which they are safe and happy at all times.

Experience, knowledge and skills required;

• Experience within a nursery environment (for the under two's room this must include under two experience).
• Knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum.
• An understanding of play based approach to children's learning and development.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week with varied shifts available e.g. four 10 hour days with a day off, three 10 hour days with two half days

Salary: Negotiable depending on age and experience

Start Date: ASAP

Candidate must have;
DBS on update service or issued within last 12 months
Paediatric First Aid
Right to work in the UK
