Full Time Teacher Job in Cambridgeshire
Job description
The days and hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week, working to a two week shift pattern of 7.30-5.00 and 8.30-6.00 for 50 weeks a year.
The successful candidate will be the lead teacher of the oldest children within the rising three group. They will be responsible for planning and resourcing the activities and environment for this group. They will lead a team of Nursery Assistants and qualified staff, supporting them in their role as key person and in modelling good practice when engaging, interacting and supporting the children.
They will inspire and enthuse the children and ensure that every child in their group makes good levels of progress. They will be the main contact for parents of the children in their group and will be responsible for ensuring parents are well informed about their children's learning and how their care needs are being met. All staff are given an iPad and the setting uses Tapestry as an online learning journal and to communicate the care given. The successful candidate will need to write a report on their key children at the end of each term and there is one parents evening per year.
To be considered for this Early Years Lead Practitioner role candidates must have:
- A clean, enhanced DBS
- An EYT or equivalent Level 6 Early Years qualification including QTS
- At least one year of keyworker experience
- Genuine interest in young children's development
- Creativity
- Experience working as part of a team
- At least one year of experience working in a leadership position

The salary being offered is £25,974.00- £26,536 based on experience and skills.
