Nursery Teacher

We are currently recruiting for one of our nursery settings who are committed to focusing on children's well-being and excellent education, they look after their staff and strive to build strong, happy teams by offering ongoing support.

This amazing opportunity is for a full-time, term time or part time Nursery Teacher based in Kensington.

Main responsibilities:
Implement best child protection practice at all times
Plan fun engaging activities
Take ownership and responsibility for tasks
To be the key worker or assistant key worker and responsible for a group of children in each session, (approx. 12-16)
To prepare work and exercises for the children each day according to their level (for example, visual discrimination skills, pencil control, number and letter work). Making written observations on your key children
To write aims, teaching plans and reports on a regular basis for the children in the group. To observe your key children and fill out observation reports. To produce end of term reports, EYFS profiles and attend parent-teacher meetings.
To liaise with parents daily if possible regarding their child, encouraging them and advising them where necessary.
To operate the smooth overall running of the nursery
Lead, manage and support the staff team to deliver outstanding policies, procedures and practices
Requirements

Teacher qualified or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above
Strong Knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements & Safeguarding
Experience working with children aged 1-5 years
A real passion for education and supporting children in their own learning
A passion for working with children
