A nursery in Aylesbury are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team!
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £31,500 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the overall management of the nursery to ensure high-quality childcare for children and families
* Deputise for the Nursery Manager and take full responsibility in their absence
* Support staff management, supervision, training, and performance
* Assist with setting and monitoring nursery goals, targets, and occupancy levels
* Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, Health & Safety, and company policies
* Maintain strong relationships with parents and deliver excellent customer service
* Support financial administration, occupancy, and fee collection
* Contribute to Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement
* Assist with recruitment, inductions, appraisals, and staff development
* Stay up to date with childcare legislation and best practice
Requirements:
* Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Previous leadership or management experience in an early years setting
* Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Health & Safety
* Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach
