  • Nursery Manager Job Description
    Location: Cambridge, CB2
    Salary: £30,140
    Holiday: 25 days (plus Bank Holidays), increasing by 1 day each year until 30 days are reached

    About the Nursery:
    We are an independent nursery located in a prime area on the edge of Cambridge city center, with easy access to public transport and free onsite parking. The nursery boasts a large garden area and Forest School sessions, encouraging children to learn through play and exploration. The setting values creativity, growth, and a passion for nurturing children’s development.

    Role Overview:
    We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate Nursery room leader to lead the under 2's  team and ensure the highest standards of care and education for the children .

    Key Responsibilities:
    -Collaborate with managers to assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
    -Support classroom routines and transitions, ensuring a smooth and organised daily schedule.
    - Interact with children during playtime, encouraging positive social interactions and fostering a sense of curiosity.
    - Assist in maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment that promotes optimal learning and exploration.
    -Observe and document children's progress and behaviours as directed by lead educators.
    -Participate actively in team meetings, professional development sessions, and training opportunities.
    -Follow and Adherent the structure of our educational programs
    - Maintain and develop professional relationship with parents/carers at all time

    What We Need From You:
    - Qualifications: Full Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, with a passion for early childhood education.
    - 1+ years experience in childcare
