This nursery in PE7 are looking to take on a new Early Years Educator who will provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where all children are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. This role involves working closely with the Nursery Management team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with policies and procedures. This role is 32.5 / 39 hours a week with a salary of £18,317.81 per annum

Requirements:
Sufficient understanding of English to ensure the well-being of children (as per EYFS).
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare.
Experience or knowledge of the voluntary sector.
Current experience in the childcare and early years sector.
Knowledge of child development, safeguarding procedures, and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice.
Ability to conduct observations and assessments following EYFS guidelines.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to work effectively in a team and engage positively with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Understanding of the impact of discriminatory experiences on children and commitment to providing a positive, inclusive environment.
Friendly, flexible approach, with a commitment to young children and families.
Duties:
Act as a key person for a group of children, supporting their learning and development.
Plan stimulating and age-appropriate play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Conduct observations to assess children’s development, health, and well-being, maintaining accurate records via the nursery management system.
Supervise children, assessing risk to ensure a safe environment.
Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring regular communication about their child’s progress.
Support children with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Assist with snack preparation, taking into account dietary and allergy requirements.
