Job Description

  • This nursery in CM13 are looking for a Senior Early Years Educator / Room Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a nurturing and positive outlook who is committed to delivering high-quality early education and supporting colleagues in their professional growth.     This role is full time, Monday - Friday with a salary up to £14.76 dependent on qualifications and experience!

    What we need from you-
    • A full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification within early years
    • Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner)
    • Demonstrable leadership experience (within Early Years)
    • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
    • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
    • Reflecting the values around responsibility, openness and working together

    Your duties include-
    • Provide high-quality care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
    • Lead and support your team, setting a positive example and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Identify areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques, implementing best practices.
    • Create and enhance stimulating experiences and environments to support children's development.
    • Promote inclusivity, ensuring the individual needs of all children in your room are met.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including observations, assessments, and reports.
    • Conduct regular team appraisals, offering support, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
    • Work closely with other Room Leaders and the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
