Term Time Only Nursery Practitioner - Chelmsford CM2 - Full time Monday to Friday - £12.71 to £13.50 per hour - ASAP start
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Nursery Practitioner to join a busy, fast-paced nursery setting. Catering for up to 50 children aged 2–5 years, the nursery also operates a breakfast and afterschool club, creating a dynamic and engaging environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, term-time only setting with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, offering a supportive team environment and opportunities for ongoing training, including SEN, first aid, and food safety. The role would suit someone who thrives in a lively setting and is confident working as part of a mature, experienced team.

Requirements
Level 2 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 preferred)
Previous nursery or childcare experience desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings until 6pm
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2–5 years
Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS
Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, stimulating environment
Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support the breakfast and afterschool club where required
