Job Description

  • Job Title: Preschool Manager
    Working Pattern: Term-time only – 4 days per week (25 hours per week)
    Salary: From £16 per hour (depending on experience)

    - A well-established, community-focused preschool set in a beautiful rural location in the Tatsfield area is looking for a qualified Preschool Manager to join their supportive team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Provide safe, high-quality education and care for early years children
    - Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements
    - Lead and manage staff on a day-to-day basis
    - Contribute to and implement early years policies and procedures
    - Ensure all statutory, legal, and setting obligations are met
    - Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the preschool

    Requirements:
    - Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a managerial or supervisory role within early years
    - Level 3 or above childcare qualification (essential)
    - Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding standards
    - Passionate about early years education and child development
    - Reliable, organised, and confident in leading a team

    Additional Information:
    - Ideally, applicants will be drivers due to the rural location
    - The setting is accessible via the 464 bus route
