    We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nanny to provide exceptional care for a family in the Wakefield area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care of their baby 5 months old whilst mum works from home and also out at the office.

    The main role is to provide care two days per week ideally Tuesday 93,30-5.30 and Wednesday 8-11 and Thursday 8.30-12.30pm. Attending local baby groups, supporting weaning and baby development. As well as nanny house duties such as keeping the childrens rooms tidy, children laundry and preparing meals for the children.

    This role requires a proactive individual who can drive and has a passion for childcare and able to support mum navigate the early years.

    Duties

    Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.

    Prepare and serve meals, ensuring nutritional needs are met.

    Educate children through play-based learning activities, fostering their development.

    Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities.

    Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.

    Provide emotional support and guidance to children, promoting positive behaviour.

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in childcare or nannying is preferred.

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.

    Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.

    First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.

    A genuine love for working with children and creating a positive atmosphere.

    Flexibility in schedule to accommodate family needs.
