A warm and welcoming family based in West Calder are seeking a reliable and nurturing part-time nanny to care for a 6-month-old baby boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about childcare and looking for a flexible role in a supportive home environment.
Hours: • 3 flexible days per week • Exact days and working hours to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate
Key Responsibilities: • Providing attentive and loving care for a 6-month-old • Personal care including feeding, changing, and settling for naps • Planning age-appropriate activities and outings to support development • Light household tasks related to the child (e.g., tidying toys, cleaning bottles) • Communicating regularly with parents about routines and milestones
The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have experience caring for infants • Be a confident driver with a full UK driving licence and access to their own car • Be comfortable around large dogs (family have a friendly German Shepherd) • Be reliable, flexible, and proactive in supporting child’s development • Bonus: Ability to speak an additional language
