About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming team in a well-established childcare setting located in Hillington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5 years. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. Observe, assess, and record children’s development and progress. Work in partnership with parents and carers to support each child's individual needs. Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised nursery space. Comply with safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements: A minimum of SVQ SCQF 7 in Childcare (or equivalent qualification). Experience working in an early years setting. Sound knowledge of the frameworks and child development. A genuine passion for working with young children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. PVG membership (or willing to apply). SSSC registration (or eligibility to register).
