Part-Time Nanny – Glasgow Southside Start Date: ASAP Location: Glasgow, G44 Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Hours: 2 to 3 days per week, 8am–5pm (The family can be flexible on days for the right candidate.)
About the Role A warm and welcoming family in the southside of Glasgow are seeking an experienced and nurturing part-time nanny to care for their one-year-old daughter. The role will suit someone calm, engaging, and confident with babies and toddlers, who enjoys supporting early development through play, routine, and outdoor exploration.
Main Duties • Providing attentive and nurturing care to a one-year-old girl • Managing daily routines including meals, naps, and personal care • Planning age-appropriate activities and outings that encourage learning and development • Supporting the child’s independence and curiosity through play and gentle guidance • Carrying out light household duties related to the child (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, meal prep, etc.)
Candidate Requirements • Previous experience caring for children under 2 years essential • A reliable and organised individual with excellent communication skills • Outdoorsy and active – someone who enjoys taking the child to parks, playgroups, and local activities • Knowledge or interest in the Montessori approach would be highly regarded • A current PVG and excellent references are required
